This is the beginning of my 6th week of my transformation and I feel great! I’ve had setbacks but I am strong and I’m starting to see the fruits of my labor. Learning not to keep an eye out on the scale has been a revelation. I love the way my clothes are fitting me, and it’s been such a boost when my friends and family see a change in my appearance. When I stated this transformations, my only goal was to lose weight. And now that I’m understanding how to do that, my stress has dissipated.
I have to remember I am not training to be a professional body builder, or to play on a team of any sort. I am working out to be healthy. I plan on living this way for the rest of my mobile days. Losing weight is still a priority to me but there is no need to lose 30 pounds in 60 days. I plan on reaching 208 before I turn 30, which is in November, but I plan on doing it the healthiest way possible.
So I still need to lose 32 pounds. Which means I only need to lose 1.4 lbs a week! By combining weight training with high intensity cardio, this goal is entirely within my grasp.
My Challenge to you
For those of you who are following a plan, kudos to you! I challenge you to map out your goal. Break it down to every last detail. If your goal is to lose weight, you will need to calculate how many calories you can eat a day, along with how many calories you should burn a day. Don’t stop there! Map our your grocery list too. Look at the foods you will need to eat to reach your goals throughout the week. Break down the number time you can make it to the gym realistically and the amount of time you can spend there.
I promise you, if you break it down to a minute level you will see that the change IS possible. Lets get after it everyone! Time to make sure you continue to be better than the last time.
